About Recruitment PLV
- Who can apply: - Such persons (male, female) who are interested in the upliftment of the weaker and deprived sections of the society without any economic benefit and want to work for them, including teachers (including retired teachers), retired Government Servants, Senior Citizens, Anganwadi workers, doctors, students, members of NGOs and clubs, members of self-service groups, friendship groups, livelihoods etc. and other persons who are interested in volunteering, and whom the Legal Services Authority may deem fit. Previously selected para legal volunteers (except advocates) can also apply again.
- Functions of Para Legal Volunteers: - Legal awareness to Para Legal Volunteers in their area, work of bridge between victims and District Legal Services Authority for legal aid, work of legal service in management office and legal aid center of authority or other Any work assigned by the District Legal Services Authority.
- Honorarium:- Honorarium Rs.500/- (five hundred) per day. Provided that this honorarium will be payable only for those special days on which the legal service authority entrusts them with any special work or the volunteer brings a person from the village to the Legal Services Authority or ADR Center for legal service or legal services in his area. Takes active part in organizing awareness camps.
